  Food was not presented as described - bacon and cheese was delivered as bacon and cheese sauce (the orange stuff from a can). Sent back for real cheese and presented with a product which had clearly been drying under a heat lamp. Service was poor and food quality needed help.

  We went back to Elwoods thinking that it would be better than Bubba O'Malleys and we were wrong. The menu has not changed, and the food is still bland, and basic and the prices are way too high. Going inside its very dark, and the decor leaves more to be desired. We have tried eating here 3 times, and not once have we been impressed the steak bite appetizer was bland, as was the ruben, the actual steak dinner. The pizza was decent but again not worth the price. It was understaffed nearly every time we ate, and our poor waiter was running around frantically trying to serve too many tables. Ryan was our server 2/3 times and he was excellent. He would be the only reason to return although unless their menu/prices change we will not be returning.
